About the event

Southbury Land Trust is pleased to welcome CT DEEP Master Wildlife Conservationist Gail Cameron to the Southbury Public Library on Saturday, September 30th at 1:00 p.m.

Gail has been with CT DEEP since 2008 and also serves as Hamden Land Trust President.  An enthusiastic ambassador for wild mammals, Gail participated in the CT DEEP bobcat study for two years and captured two female bobcats for GPS collaring.

Gail's talk will detail the biology of the bobcat, how these beautiful animals almost disappeared from the state and how the population is now recovering.

Make sure to Save the Date and learn more about “Connecticut’s Secretive Cat.” This program is free of charge and open to the public.  This adult educational program is best suited for children  8 years of age and up.
