About the event
Monarch butterflies are in trouble! Their populations are drastically declining, but all of us can help if we plant milkweed. Asclepias is the one plant crucial to their survival. Monarch butterflies lay their eggs on milkweed and the Monarch caterpillars feed exclusively on milkweed.
Learn to winter sow milkweed with Southbury Land Trust at our free class, January 7, at Southbury Parks & Recreation.
We'll have soil and milkweed seeds. Details when you register through Parks & Rec https://www.southbury-ct.org/parkrec-event-SLT
